The Founder

Hi, I’m Arun.

A quiet wall. Morning light. A small piece that doesn’t try too hard, but somehow completes the space.

That’s what I’m building Arakku for.

The Logo

Arakku is written with the Tamil letter “அ”, the first letter, representing the A of Arakku. It’s a quiet nod to South Indian tradition - and to beginnings shaped at home, by hand, and with care.

The Artist

Hi

I’m Nikita, an artist and the voice behind Arakku.

I’m a user experience designer by profession, and I’ve always been drawn to how people experience things - how the eye moves, how a space feels, how small details quietly shape everything. I’m also a Bharatanatyam dancer, shaped by movement, rhythm, and tradition.

Arakku lives at the intersection of these worlds. I hope these pieces speak to you, bring you joy, and continue to live and grow with you for decades to come.
